Wasfa (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a recipe assistant that helps you turn the ingredients you have into meals you’ll want to make. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Wasfa mobile application and related services.
We aim to make privacy as thoughtful as the recipes we create: collect what we need, use it for the service you asked for, and make your information easy to understand and control.
02
The information we receive depends on how you use Wasfa.
When you create or access an account, we may receive your name, email address, and an identifier from your sign-in provider. We use this to create your account and keep it secure.
This can include allergies, dietary preferences, taste preferences, household size, cooking skill, selected ingredients, and recipes you generate. These details help Wasfa tailor suggestions and protect the restrictions you set.
We may receive limited technical and diagnostic information, such as app version, operating system, language, request timestamps, and crash details, to keep Wasfa reliable and secure.
We do not ask for passwords or payment card details inside Wasfa.

We use information for the following purposes:
When you ask Wasfa to generate a recipe, the ingredients and relevant preferences needed for that request may be processed by our AI service providers. We limit the information shared for generation to what is needed for the feature and do not send passwords or authentication tokens.
04
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information:
05
We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide Wasfa, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we aim to remove your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to backups and information we must retain.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password for any account that uses one.
